What is therapy?
Therapy is a process and/or journey of exploring emotional healing. Traditionally, this has been done via talk methods; however, there are various approaches to navigating psychological and emotional wellness. CYOO takes a holistic integrative and collaborative approach to supporting you. Every client is different; therefore, every journey is different. The relationship between the therapist and the client are central to its' effectiveness.
What is coaching?
Coaching helps you to identify goals and tasks to improve your personal and professional performance. It is a very solution focused approach where the coach provides direction and insight towards the acquisition of these goals. Coaching can be short term or long term depending on your needs.
What states does CYOO serve and what are the corresponding services?
CYOO provides teletherapy in two states - Georgia and Florida.
CYOO offers coaching services in all 50 states and internationally.
What are your payment methods?
Mastercard, Visa, Discover, CashApp, Venmo, Paypal and Zelle for therapy and coaching services. For returned payments, client will be assessed a $35 service fee.
Does CYOO accept insurance?
Yes but in Georgia only for telehealth services ONLY (United Healthcare, Anthem BCBS, Cigna, Oscar, Optum Health, Oxford, and Aetna). Upon request, superbills are issued for insurance reimbursement (client must inform staff when scheduling appt)
How do I know if I am are ready for therapy and if I have selected the right therapist?
Readiness is subjective and contingent upon your personal commitment to showing up for yourself. Therapy can be fun and yet, it is also work. It requires dedication and commitment. This also applies to coaching clients. There are 168 hours in one week, our services are at most one hour at a time, so it is important to apply yourself outside of the sessions.
Selecting the right therapist can be hard as well. Things to consider: Scope of specialty and experience related to your needs; education, certification and licensing information; personality; finally, do you believe this therapist/coach can help you obtain your personal transformational needs.
Why does the initial consultation cost?
In an effort to ensure you receive quality of services, the initial consultation allows our experts to determine whether or not we are a fit to service your needs. This takes time, insight and professional evaluation. CYOO offers a plethora of experience and specialized trainings to assist in this effort and we see the tremendous value in our commitment to supporting you and we thank you in advance for your commitment to understanding the value of this nuanced relationship. If it is determined we are not a good fit, CYOO will provide referrals/recommendations. The initial consultation is non-refundable.
What about confidentiality?
CYOO offers telehealth services utilizing a HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act) compliant online platform, ICouch to ensure that your information aligns with the ethical and legal expectations of HIPAA and ACA (American Counseling Association). Additionally, as mandated reports, there are limitations to confidentiality - harm to self, harm to others, and any harm from others towards you. In such instances, we must report this information to the appropriate agencies.
What is the cancellation/reschedule and scheduling policy?
CYOO provides flexibility for clients to schedule their own sessions; however, we understand that life happens and we ask you to notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Otherwise, you will be charged the entire service fee. If you meet the 24 hour requirement, you will not be charged.
